Ms. Jamyang Choden, a Mechanical Engineering student and Immediate Past President of the ASHRAE–CST Bhutan Student Branch, has co-authored a research article titled “Optimizing Natural Ventilation and Solar Energy Integration in G+1 Buildings to Enhance Energy Efficiency and Comfort.” The paper has been published in the American Institute of Physics (AIP) Conference Proceedings, marking a notable academic contribution from the programme.
The study explores strategies for combining natural ventilation and solar energy systems to improve building performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort—an area of growing relevance in sustainable engineering and building design.
