The Department of Mechanical Engineering held a Recognition & Felicitation Ceremony to acknowledge outstanding student achievements in academics, competitions, and skill-development programs.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dasho Chewang Rinzin awarded the Academic Excellence medals sponsored by the Mrs. Shashi Kanta Memorial Foundation:

Dasho highlighted the crucial role of engineering in Bhutan’s progress and encouraged students to pursue excellence, innovation, and meaningful contributions aligned with His Majesty’s vision for a self-reliant Bhutan.
The top three winners of the ASHRAE India Poster Competition were felicitated by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Rinchen Dorji for their creativity and technical competence.
Certificates were also presented to students who completed key technical programs, including the AutoCAD Boot Camp, Essential Skills Workshop, Environmental Poster Competition, and the Technological Advancement in Manufacturing training.
Dean Prof. Abhishek Agarwal congratulated all awardees and acknowledged the commitment of students, faculty, and the university leadership in strengthening the ME learning environment.
