Mechanical Soir 2025: An Evening of Celebration and Community

The Mechanical Engineering programme hosted Mechanical Soir 2025, a lively and memorable evening that brought together students, faculty, and staff in a celebration of creativity, camaraderie, and community spirit. The event highlighted the enthusiasm, unity, and teamwork that continue to define the programme’s culture and identity.

Students curated an engaging lineup of activities, including games, musical performances, poetry recitations, karaoke sessions, and a variety of talent showcases. Their energy and creativity transformed the evening into an interactive space where everyone could participate, enjoy, and appreciate the diverse talents within the Mechanical Engineering community. The evening concluded with a shared dinner, offering students, faculty, and staff a relaxed setting to connect, exchange stories, and strengthen the relationships that support a vibrant academic environment. Faculty members Mr. Tenzin, Mr. Damcho Wangchuk, and Mr. Singye Wangchuk added extra charm to the evening by singing, participating in activities, and cheering alongside the students. Several students also received for their active participation, creativity, and sportsman spirit—adding an element of excitement to the night.
