The Mechanical Engineering – CST ASHRAE Student Branch is proud to announce the outstanding achievement of our student team — Mr. Bishal Mongar, Ms. Jamyang Choden, and Mr. Ahasis — who represented CST and Bhutan at the prestigious REFCOlD Global Poster Design Competition 2025 held in New Delhi, India.
Their poster project was selected as the only international entry, a remarkable accomplishment that earned appreciation from the jury, industry professionals, and a diverse global audience. The team’s work stood out not only for its technical creativity but also for the graceful integration of Bhutanese cultural identity, reflected through their traditional attire and humble presentation.
The students participated through a fully funded opportunity and were further recognized with a special cash prize, acknowledging their dedication and the quality of their contribution.
This milestone highlights the innovation, discipline, and rising capability of Mechanical Engineering students at CST. By bringing Bhutan’s name to an international engineering platform, the team demonstrated the values of professionalism, cultural pride, and academic excellence.
