Austrian Delegation Visits Mechanical Engineering Department to Explore Collaboration Opportunities

The Department of Mechanical Engineering had the privilege of engaging with a distinguished delegation of three professors:

These institutions represent some of Europe’s leading universities in engineering and applied sciences.

The visit centered on meaningful discussions covering academic collaboration, joint research possibilities, successful case studies, skills development, and innovative teaching–learning practices.
Dean Prof. Agarwal shared the department’s ongoing initiatives and future directions, followed by a guided campus tour that highlighted the innovation, resilience, and hands-on learning culture of the Mechanical Engineering community.

During the workshop visit, Mr. Lungten and Mr. Karma, our skilled technicians, demonstrated the capabilities of the advanced machining section, showcasing how the facility supports practical learning, prototyping, and research activities.

The delegation expressed appreciation for the dedication of the students and faculty, acknowledging the department’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful industry–academia integration.

This visit marks an important step toward strengthening international academic ties, creating new pathways for collaborative research, knowledge exchange, and future mobility opportunities for CST students and faculty.
