The Mechanical Engineering department is pleased to share that Mr. Tenzin, Assistant Lecturer, has successfully completed the Residential School phase of the fully funded Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCertHE) program at Samtse College of Education, held from 25 December 2025 to 17 January 2026.
The PgCertHE program will continue through 2026, with two academic modules scheduled for completion during the Spring Semester, followed by the remaining two modules in the Autumn Semester, alongside structured assignment-based academic work.
Facilitated by experienced faculty, the program emphasizes reflective teaching practice, collaborative learning, and continuous professional development in higher education. Core areas of focus include University Learning and Teaching, Curriculum Design and Evaluation, Assessment and Feedback, and Educational Technology, supporting learner-centered instruction and effective digital integration.
Dean Prof. Agarwal, appreciated Mr. Tenzin’s commitment to professional growth and noted the department’s intention to share the learning outcomes of the program with newly recruited lecturers in the coming months. Mr. Tenzin also serves as a Program Leader under the guidance of Prof. Agarwal, contributing to academic coordination and student engagement within the department.
