The Mechanical Engineering – CST ASHRAE Student Branch successfully organized a 3-day hands-on workshop designed to strengthen students’ practical data analysis capabilities and enhance essential professional and soft skills necessary for career growth.
The workshop focused on developing confidence in SPSS-based data analysis, collaborative problem-solving, structured communication, and practical application of analytical tools used across engineering, research, and industry environments. Through guided exercises and peer engagement, participants gained both technical proficiency and valuable workplace skills.
Dean Prof. Agarwal addressed the participants, encouraging them to embrace continuous learning, stay open to new skill sets, and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. He emphasized that engineers must remain adaptable, analytical, and proactive to excel in today’s evolving professional landscape.
The event was effectively facilitated by Mr. Singye Wangchuk, Mr. Karma Dorji, and Mr. Damcho Wangchuk, whose leadership and support ensured smooth coordination throughout the three days. Their efforts contributed significantly to making the sessions interactive, engaging, and meaningful for all participants.
