Meet Our Team
The Mechanical Engineering Programme is led by a committed team of academic and technical professionals who value innovation, practical learning, and strong programme leadership. We work together to provide a supportive and engaging environment where students develop solid engineering skills, confidence, and readiness for future opportunities.
Prof. Abhishek Agarwal
Dean
As the founding Dean of the Mechanical Engineering programme, he oversaw its establishment and early development, introducing modern laboratories, industry-linked projects, and funded initiatives that strengthened both teaching and applied research. A multidisciplinary academic background in mechanical engineering, energy systems, thermal sciences, materials optimization, management, and education supports a holistic approach to programme building and innovation. Under his leadership, the programme continues to expand research capacity, consultancy services, and practical learning opportunities for students and faculty.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering (Energy), Ph.D. Engineering (Automotive/Materials)
M.Tech. (Hons.) in Thermal Engineering, MBA in Marketing Management
B.Tech. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering, M.A. in Education
